In the 2020-2024 VQR, UniGe achieved a very positive result for knowledge transfer, ranking second in Italy among large universities for the R4 quality indicator. The 14 case studies submitted by the University to the ANVUR interdisciplinary GEV received three class A ratings, "Exceptional," and 11 class B ratings, "Excellent."
DIME contributed to this result with two case studies, both rated in class B: SPACE V, with Patrizia Bagnerini as supervisor, and CROSS-I – Collaboration and Sustainability for the Smart Industry Revolution, with Flavio Tonelli as supervisor.
This result confirms the Department's significant role in knowledge valorization, technology transfer, and collaboration with the local community, businesses, and society.
