1.Project Title
H2PESTO – Hydrogen-ready smart grid in ambiente agricolo
PR FESR Liguria 2021–2027 – Azione 1.1.1
Period: 01/03/2024 – 28/02/2026
2. Project Description
The H2PESTO project aims to develop a power-to-hydrogen-to-power system in an agricultural environment, using a 15 kW electrolyzer, MH storage, a 10 kW fuel cell, and PV integration. UNIGE is contributing with laboratory validations and energy integration studies.
3. Project Objectives
- Demonstrate power-to-hydrogen-to-power systems in greenhouses.
- Validate a H2/CH4 blending boiler in the UNIGE laboratory.
- Validate a cogeneration fuel cell.
- Develop energy and agronomic models for smart grid management.
- UNIGE also contributes to:
- energy and agronomic analysis
- process modeling and simulations
- evaluation of energy behavior with seasonal storage
4. Partners and Stakeholders Involved
Coordinator:
- BluEnergy Revolution
Partner:
- SITEM, Fattoria di Pol, TETIS, UNIGE
5. udget and Financing
Budget: 979.502 € - UNIGE: 88.049 €
Financing institution: FILSE Regione Liguria – PR FESR 2021–2027
